What does Carbon Dioxide do to the environment?
Extra carbon dioxide in the atmosphere increases the greenhouse effect. The greenhouse effect means that the more thermal energy trapped by the atmosphere, causes the planet to become warmer which increases the Earth's temperature, this is global warming.
Our plan at State Energy Co. is to eliminate 3,700,000 metric tonnes of carbon dioxide. That's equivalent to 804,000 motor cars off the road each year!
What can you do?
You can make climate-conscious political decisions in the upcoming election, make your home and household energy efficient by switching off any electricity that is on when you are not using it, walk, cycle or take public transport, recycle, re-use and avoid useless purchases, and most importantly purchase solar energy systems to drive ever greater investment in this technology and action against the climate change that is impeding our earth.
You can be the catalyst of change!
The future of energy is renewable sources such as solar, even without climate change, there is a limit to our available resources for electricity.
